All of Riverside Theatre's events are produced in-house using The Acting Company's staff. Under the direction of Artistic Director Allen D. Cornell, sets, props, lights and costumes are designed and built on-site. Actors, designers and directors from New York and other areas of the country are brought in for two and a half weeks of rehearsals and up to four weeks of performances.

Gifford Aquatics Center features a large 100´ x 75´ pool and a ´Sprayground´ for kids. The pool is ´zero´ entry, meaning you can walk in gradually from one end (just like an ocean beach only no waves or rip tides!). This makes it easy to introduce water to the kids, teach swimming, and accommodate those in wheelchairs, which can roll right into the water! The 178,000-gallon pool has a capacity for 149 swimmers.

The Vero Beach Choral Society presents choral works ranging from great choral masterpieces to pop concerts for the enjoyment and enrichment of the community.

The North County Aquatic Center is a family oriented public pool. The pool is heated and open year round. We feature an activity pool, a competition pool, with a diving well and changing facilities. Our activity pool is zero depth for easy entry for all ages. The activity pool has slides, water cannons, bubblers, a water tree and a huge water play structure. The competition pool has almost 1 million gallons of water. We have up to 24 lanes for lap swimming at 25 yards. Our diving well has one meter and three meter diving boards.

Our goal is to provide a Safe, Secure and Fun Environment with supervision. Camps offer opportunity for youth to make new friends and spend their summer participating in recreational and educational programs. Two camps will be offered at Leisure Square; Sports/Aquatics & Performing Arts. Both camps are 8 weeks long.

Riverside Children�s Theatre (RCT) is the educational and youth-oriented arm of the Riverside Theatre, Inc. Begun in 1980 by a group of Vero Beach, Florida parents with the goal to provide cultural enrichment opportunities for their children, the program affiliated with the Riverside Theatre and grew under its auspices.

Royale Palm Pointe off Indian River Boulevard in Vero Beach opened to an exuberant crowd of 8,000 in February 2001 and has been drawing 300 to 600 people every day since.

The City of Sebastian Skate Facility is owned and operated by the City of Sebastian. The street course skating area is 7,700 sq. ft. Even though the IRL is an everyday sight for many of us, few have ever experienced the unsurpassed biological diversity that lies below these waters. The Smithsonian Marine Ecosystems Exhibit, located inside the St. Lucie County Marine Center, provides a window into this underwater world. Make no mistake, we are not a typical public aquarium. Our focus is on displaying ecosystems as complex communities of organisms interacting in their environment. At the Marine Ecosystems Exhibit, visitors can explore six different Florida marine habitats and learn about the complexity and importance of marine ecosystems. With the help of our dynamic displays we strive to provide the public with a better understanding of the fragile marine ecosystems of the IRL and surrounding area and the impact humans are having on these fragile environments.

In an era when pollutants, noise, crowding, unbridled growth and hurried living tend to diminish the use of our senses, the ELC strives, through "hands-on-learning" to bring us back to these inborn capacities of smell, touch, taste, hearing and seeing. In so doing, the ELC returns us to our most natural state: that of being fully alert to our surroundings and deeply respectful and appreciative of them.

The Vero Heritage Center as it is now called is used for heritage and community events. It can be rented out for weddings, parties and other occasions. The Citrus Museum preserves the past with artifacts, photographs and memorabilia of the pioneers who created the world’s finest citrus.

Under the direction of Roman Ortega-Cowan, Artistic Director, the Vero Beach Opera will present three operatic concerts which include Metropolitan Opera Stars Deborah Voigt and Susan Neves, as well as a full opera MADAMA BUTTERFLY in cooperation with the Orlando Opera.

The Manatee Observation and Education Center is a waterfront wildlife observation and nature education center located on Florida's east coast in downtown Fort Pierce. The endangered Florida manatee, also called sea cow, is the main attraction. Manatees can be viewed at the Center year-round! Stand along the covered observation walkway or climb the second story observation tower to see Florida's "Gentle Giants" resting or playing in Moore's Creek. These are wild, not captive manatees, so one never knows when they might swim by.

IRSA was founded in 1986 by a small but dedicated group of soccer enthusiasts. Their mission was to create an entirely inclusive athletic association that offered any child the opportunity to play soccer for fun. That first season included 45 players of all ages and 4 coaches. Today, IRSA serves over 1000 children annually, with two 8-Week seasons, rostering over 80 teams for children aged 4-18.

The Indian River County Recreation Department provides and operates recreational programs and facilities for the use of County residents and visitors of all age groups. In addition, trained, certified water safety personnel are provided at County beaches.
