Reviews For Vero Beach Museum of Art

Aren’t we lucky to have a first class city museum in our town!

In 1978, I applied and was accepted to a show called “Under the Oaks” by the then named Vero Beach Art Center…That was my introduction to Vero Beach and shortly after built a home here and have remained here until today Like all great institutions this Museum of Art has grown into a treasure on the Treasure Coast. Not only do they bring in 1st class exhibits, those you would expect to see a far larger museums, but have added even more art classes and a foreign film series that gets better and better each year. Further they sponsor outdoor music events where you can bring a lawn chair, sit on the grassy surrounds and enjoy a night of music under the stars. No visitor to Vero Beach should miss it and for those of us lucky enough to live here, take advantage of all they have to offer. I do.

From classes to exhibitions - VBMA aims to inspire, educate and entertain. The museum is a cultural gem. The property is gorgeous as well. Lovely place to walk around and enjoy outdoor sculpture.

Excellent Afternoon

When we walked in we were greeted so warmly and asked if we would like to join the docent tour which we did. You sure don't receive such welcoming from the museums in the Connecticut area. Must be the warmth of environment. The docent was excellent and you always learn so much from them when they are good. visiting a museum is like choosing a perfume, you can't take too, too much in because you can get overwhelmed. We enjoyed ourselves very much.

Nice little museum

Clean, well kept little museum that is good to kill a couple of hours on a rainy day. Wish they would get some more interesting exhibits more often. Gift shop is nice but expensive and sells more knick knacks than art-related items.
