CAUSE FOR PAWS 2024 - Humane Society Vero Beach & Indian River County Fundraiser

The Humane Society of Vero Beach & Indian River County (HSVB) is excited to announce the date of the 2024 fundraiser, Cause for Paws - it's the organization's largest event.

This fabulous evening featuring cocktails, gourmet cuisine, silent & live auctions and heartfelt stories as we celebrate the thousands of people and pet’s lives saved and changed thanks to our pet-loving supporters and community.

“Every year, we look forward to this event. Last year we raised more than $420,000 for homeless, at risk
and injured animals in our community. We are hoping this year’s event will be the best one yet,” says Kate Meghji, Chief Executive Officer.

Hundreds of pet lovers attend Cause for Paws every year.  All monies raised from the event allows HSVB to be there for all animals in need and help keep pets in their homes and families together.

The Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County is a nonprofit, independently operated open door shelter dedicated to helping and protecting the animals of Indian River County and assisting owners to keep pets in their homes.

In addition to adopting homeless animals, HSVB operates a wellness clinic and two thrift stores – in Vero Beach and Sebastian.
