Nutcracker Auditions
Nutcracker auditions will be held on Saturday the 14th of August between 1 pm and 3 pm at Leisure Square, 3705 16th ST, Vero Beach, 32960. All roles are available for Vero Classical Ballet's 3rd annual production of the Christmas classic, The Nutcracker.
Female and male dancers from 4 years old and up are encouraged to come. The performance will be held at the Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Center on Saturday, November 27th with a 2 pm matinee and a 7 pm evening show. The dress rehearsal will be held on Friday November 26th. General rehearsals will take place at Vero Classical Ballet's studio, 3705 16th ST, Vero Beach, most Saturdays with older students participating in some weekday rehearsals.

Summer Reading Program is Jumpin’!!!
Local students will be jumpin’ this summer, thanks to Indian River Federal Credit Union’s annual Summer Reading Program!
From June 9 through Aug 30, 2010, local children up to age 13 can earn FREE ADMISSION to Crazy Frogs!!! Located at 1375 US Hwy 1, Vero Beach (behind Carrabba’s), Crazy Frogs is Vero’s ultimate Children’s Party and Playground, with over 10,000 sq. ft. of wall-to-wall indoor fun! Tour: Padgett Creek Ranches
Date: Friday, October 22, 2010
Time: 8:30 – 11:00 a.m.
Description: Alight on one of the Padgett Creek buggies for an extensive tour of the pristine 1,600 acre Florida ranchland property, accompanied by guides who will provide an overview of the easements and its importance to the conservation efforts in our community. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty surrounding this important fresh water feeder system to Blue Cypress Lake. Expect bird watching and other native wildlife observation.

Description: Enjoy and easy stroll on boardwalks past manmade marshes and along the Indian River Lagoon. Naturalists will accompany you to describe this new unique project designed to clean well-water brine and enhance bird habitat. Guests will observe birds and other native wildlife within this 45 acre preserve.
