City of Vero Beach Recreation Department

Summer Camps for Children 6-13 years old (must have completed kindergarten and be 6 years old before June 10th)

Our goal is to provide a Safe, Secure and Fun Environment with supervision. Camps offer opportunity for youth to make new friends and spend their summer participating in recreational and educational programs. Two camps will be offered at Leisure Square; Sports/Aquatics Camp & Aerial Antics Circus Camp. Both camps are 9 weeks long.

Sports/Aquatics Camp: Activities include various sports, swimming, movies, arts & crafts, as well as off-site activities such as bowling and skating.

Aerial Antics Camp: This camp will teach gymnastics, circus aerial, dance and circus skits. Also planned are swimming, movies, arts & crafts, as well as off-site activities such as bowling and skating.

• Registration begins March 1, 2013
• Camps run June 10 – August 9, 2013
• Drop-off between 7:30 – 9 and pick-up between 4 – 5:30
• Camp activities run from 9 until 4
• Extended day from 7am - 6pm available for an additional fee

Fees:

• City resident $90/week
• Non-city resident $105/week
• Weekly fee includes ALL activities and lunch

Fun in the Sun
This mini camp is a week of fun that will include swimming, basketball, volleyball, movies, games and arts & crafts. Lunches should be brought from home and concessions will be sold.

August 12 - 16, 2013

• Drop-off between 7:30 – 9 and pick-up between 4 – 5:30
• Camp activities run from 9 until 4
• NO extended day available this week

Fees:

• City resident $80/week
• Non-City resident $95/week

  Cheer Camp
  A fun-filled week learning cheers, chants, jumps, stunts, dances, tumbling, making great friends, and so much more! Prepare a routine for an exhibition at the end of the week. Anyone ages 7 and older welcome. Bring swimsuit and towel every day. Limited to 50 participants. Participants must wear sneakers and will receive a FREE t-shirt. Lunches should be brought from home and concessions will be sold.

Riverside Tennis Summer Mini Camp
Riverside Racquet Complex 350 Dahlia Lane 231-4787. Camp will include tennis lessons and a variety of activities. This camp is offered for children ages 6-13 years. Campers must bring their own racquet and water bottle. Drinks, candy and chips are available in the Pro Shop.
