WHAT IS SCORE?
SCORE is an acronym for Service Corps Of Retired Executives which is affiliated with the U.S. Small Business Administration.

It is a national organization of volunteer retired business entrepreneurs and executives which was founded in 1964. Nationally there are almost 400 chapters and over 10,000 counselors. The Treasure Coast Chapter has been assisting businesses since 1972.

WHO ARE SCORE COUNSELORS?
Many of them are retired business owners or managers. Some are still active owners or managers. They volunteer their services because they want to give something back to the community.

They share their expertise with aspiring entrepreneurs or existing businesses so that these individuals have a greater chance to grow their business and make them profitable sooner.

Our counselors have direct experience in manufacturing, public relations, legal, banking, real estate, insurance, venture capital, finance, distribution, high technology, materials, sales and marketing, specialty retailing, business start-up, information technology, acquisitions, divestitures, turnarounds, human resources and non-profits.
