The Mission of Keep Indian River Beautiful is to empower individuals to take greater responsibility for their community environments by involving volunteers in litter prevention and reduction, beautification, neighborhood revitalization, recycling and conservation education.

We are Indian River County's Certified "Keep America Beautiful" Affiliate.

PROGRAMS:

Reuse Exchange Center, where people bring in reusable items and we have a free corner, donate, exchange, and sell them back to the community.   We do all the adopt-A-programs (Beach, Roadway, Lagoon, Spoil Island, Coast, Marina, Fishing Line Bin)  We also are proud affiliates of the Keep America Beautiful where we do the Great American Cleanup, Earthday, International Coastal Cleanup, and Cigarette Litter Prevention programs.  We also teach the 4r's education (recycle, reduce, reuse, and rethink) in all the schools throughout the county.  Along with participating in different events such as the Pelican Wildlife Festival, Home and Garden show, 2 annual car ride expo, firemans fair, earthday, etc...
