Every Relationship Violence Free
24-hour Domestic Violence Crisis Hot Line 1-800-500-1119
Domestic Violence is a pattern of abusive behaviors used to establish power and control over an intimate partner often leading to the threat or use of violence. Abuse is any controlling behavior, hurtful acts, word, or gesture that injures another’s body or emotions. Domestic violence is not a disagreement, a marital spat, or an anger management problem.
All Treasure Coast victims of domestic violence who are requesting emergency shelter receive safe housing at one of their two residential shelter facilities.
Anyone can access SafeSpace services by the 24-hour hotline 1-800-500-1119 or referral by friends or family, law enforcement, or other social services agencies.
