Indian River Woodcarvers Club

Indian River Wood Carvers Club (IRWC) currently has over a hundred members from Vero Beach and surrounding areas. Its members are of various skill level abilities, but they share two things in common, the love for working with wood and having fun. The goals of this club are to promote woodcarving as an art form and craft. And, to educate the members to the different techniques and styles of carving.

The main goal of the Indian River Riding Club is to promote and encourage care, riding, and enjoyment of the horse plus friendship and fun. The club offers a wide range of activities at all levels, some of which are restricted to members only. Schooling shows in English, Western Pleasure, Mini's, Games, and Fun Shows are routinely held.

Save The Manatee® Club was established in 1981 by former Florida Governor Bob Graham and singer/songwriter Jimmy Buffett. SMC was started so the public could participate in conservation efforts to save endangered manatees from extinction. SMC is a membership-based, national nonprofit organization.

THEIR MISSION is to encourage and support appreciation and creation of fine art with emphasis on all forms of painting, collage and sculpture. Founded in 1936, the Vero Beach Art Club is an independent not-for-profit organization currently serving over 400 members and the Vero Beach community through monthly meetings, education, exhibitions and social events which include two of Vero Beach's main art shows annually, Under the Oaks and Art by the Sea.

American Legion Post 39

Post 39 is one of the oldest American Legion Posts in the State; chartered September 15, 1919, one day before the National Charter was approved by Congress. The American Legion supports wartime veterans, widows, and children of veterans. They also support many other organizations.

Chartered in 1958 by Pilot International, the PILOT CLUB OF VERO BEACH, Inc. has supported and encouraged local youths with annual scholarships and performance based awards. It has initiated many local community programs such as 911 and lifeline. In addition, each year the club donates funds to several local agencies.
