The Homeless Family Center provides Emergency and Transitional Shelter for Homeless Families from Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin, and Okeechobee Counties. Our 4th Street facility can accommodate seven families in the Emergency Shelter and twelve families in the Transitional Shelter which translates into a total of 72 individuals that we may house on any given day. Founded nearly forty years ago, the Vero Beach Duplicate Bridge Club has grown to one of the largest sanctioned ACBL (American Contract Bridge League) clubs in the country. The member-owned and operated club has more than 600 dues-paying members and hosts more than 11,000 tables of bridge per year.

The Youth Guidance Mentoring and Activities Program provides services for about 700 children living in Indian River County in grades K-12 from single parent or non-traditional homes (foster homes, children being raised by grandparents etc.). These children benefit from having a volunteer friend to provide them with friendship and guidance. Children are referred to us from schools, after school programs, counselors, other local agencies, and interested citizens.

OUR MISSION is to encourage and support appreciation and creation of fine art with emphasis on all forms of painting, collage and sculpture. Founded in 1936, the Vero Beach Art Club is an independent not-for-profit organization currently serving over 400 members and the Vero Beach community through monthly meetings, education, exhibitions and social events which include two of Vero Beach's main art shows annually, Under the Oaks and Art by the Sea.

Childcare Resources provides tuition assistance for quality early care and preschool, support and guidance to help maintain family stability free access to mental health professionals and a wide variety of parenting programs and family enrichment opportunities. Since its founding in 1994, more than 900 children and their families have participated in Childcare Resources programs. The organization is also the proud recipient of the Agency Excellence Award 2001 and 2005 presented by the United Way of Indian River County.

The Exchange Club of Indian River meets every Wednesday from noon to 1:00 pm at Culinary Capers, 737 22nd Street, Vero Beach. There is no charge for new persons who express an interest in joining. The Club is a group of men and women working together to make our community a better place to live through programs of service in Americanism, Community Service, Youth Activities, and the Prevention of Child Abuse. Its 501(c)3 Foundation raises funds for programs that prevent child abuse.
