In every community, boys and girls are left to find their own recreation and companionship in the streets. An increasing number of children are at home with no adult care or supervision. Young people need to know that someone cares about them.

The Craft Club of Sebastian is located at the Riverview Park, US 1 in Sebastian. It consists of many vendors with all handcrafted items who come from Indian River County, Brevard County and St. Lucie County. They have eight Craft Shows per year beginning in October and ending in May. The shows are scheduled for the first Saturday of the month, except in November which is scheduled for the second Saturday. Come and enjoy a day at the Craft Show by the beautiful Indian River

The main goal of the Indian River Riding Club is to promote and encourage care, riding, and enjoyment of the horse plus friendship and fun. The club offers a wide range of activities at all levels, some of which are restricted to members only. Schooling shows in English, Western Pleasure, Mini´s, Games, and Fun Shows are routinely held.

The Sebastian Fishin Chics is a non-profit club inspiring women to learn the sport of fishing. They are a group of women who are also interested in the environment, in helping each other & the community. The Chics meet monthly, have an online newsletter, and schedule outings.

Chartered in 1958 by Pilot International, the PILOT CLUB OF VERO BEACH, Inc. has supported and encouraged local youths with annual scholarships and performance based awards. It has initiated many local community programs such as 911 and lifeline. In addition, each year the club donates funds to several local agencies.

Save The Manatee Club was established in 1981 by former Florida Governor Bob Graham and singer/songwriter Jimmy Buffett. SMC was started so the public could participate in conservation efforts to save endangered manatees from extinction. SMC is a membership-based, national nonprofit organization.

The Vero Beach Computer Group (VBCG) is a not for profit, self- help organization made of people who use computers, who want to learn more about computers, and who want to share what they know with others.

The Indian River Astronomical Society (IRAS) was organized in June of 2002. The institutional sponsor of the Society is the Indian River Charter High School. In addition, the Society is a member of the Astronomical League, an international association of astronomical organizations, and enjoys those benefits.

Thank you for your interest in the Vero Beach Interfaith Gospel Choir. It is an interdenominational choir made up of people of various backgrounds. We're working on two songs: Jesus is Real and Lay Aside Every Weight. We'll keep working on them next Tuesday, 6:30-7:30pm, and probably add one new song. Sprouting from an art group that was began in 1937, The Sebastian River Art Club was incorporated in 1972 and is an active organization that meets every Tuesday in City Hall Annex, supports local charities , takes part in community events and presents the "Rosalie Taylor Hume Scholarship annually to a deserving art student. Founded nearly forty years ago, the Vero Beach Duplicate Bridge Club has grown to one of the largest sanctioned ACBL (American Contract Bridge League) clubs in the country. The member-owned and operated club has more than 600 dues-paying members and hosts more than 11,000 tables of bridge per year.

OUR MISSION is to encourage and support appreciation and creation of fine art with emphasis on all forms of painting, collage and sculpture. Founded in 1936, the Vero Beach Art Club is an independent not-for-profit organization currently serving over 400 members and the Vero Beach community through monthly meetings, education, exhibitions and social events which include two of Vero Beach's main art shows annually, Under the Oaks and Art by the Sea.

The Exchange Club of Indian River meets every Wednesday from noon to 1:00 pm at Culinary Capers, 737 22nd Street, Vero Beach. There is no charge for new persons who express an interest in joining. The Club is a group of men and women working together to make our community a better place to live through programs of service in Americanism, Community Service, Youth Activities, and the Prevention of Child Abuse. Its 501(c)3 Foundation raises funds for programs that prevent child abuse.
